Just Another Day

Difference's happen,

even though they do,

I still think of you

The day I came to you,

the clouds cleared,

 the birds sang

the sun shined.

Smiles lifted our hearts,

sparkles light our eyes.

That day I came to you.

The next day comes,

 not as fast as the first,

the clouds returned.

It's dark out now,

the sun disappeared

 through the gloom

It starts to rain,

the ground is soft.

Scared to sink in,

I remember

 the difference in you

In me

Time no longer exists,

for my rememberance

stays with me.

It's a new day!
